Ride Support Volunteer (Eastleigh, Hampshire)

Cycling UK is looking for Ride Support Volunteers to help run a ‘mums and toddlers ‘ cycling group, based in Fleming Park in Eastleigh. The sessions run on mornings, for 5 week slots helping mums with children aged between 1-3 years to get back into cycling by using trailers to transport their kids while they go on a bike ride. There are also indoor taster sessions happening once a month. We are looking for someone who is warm, welcoming and able to help the participants feel at ease. You will be supporting the Ride Leader in running a safe and enjoyable session by setting up equipment, collecting paperwork and keeping an eye on participants to see if anyone needs extra help and support. This project has been developed by Eastleigh Borough Council with support from My Journey, the sustainable travel project from Southampton City Council.
