Local Representative (Wales/Cymru)
Are you passionate about improving your local environment to make it a safer, more welcoming and accessible place for people to cycle? Do you want to make the most of the limited time you have available for the maximum impact?
Local Representatives tap into the experience and skills of the national Cycling Advocacy Network to bring change; influencing decision makers to help enable more people to cycle.
There is no minimum time commitment, we value whatever time you can commit at any point.
Where possible you will join an informal working hub of at least three Local Representatives, giving and receiving peer support. You will be assigned to a Regional Coordinator, who has oversight of activities in a wider area, and who can help with questions and link you to helpful people/resources. You will be set up on Cycling UK’s Volunteer Forum, linking with Local Reps across the country, sharing insights, contributing to discussions and asking for assistance.
Local Representatives must be members (or affiliate members) of Cycling UK.
